Presence coaching is for people who want to develop their capacity to be here - really here. It's a space where the invitation is to meet yourself as you are.
Many of us spend a lot of time trying to manage our lives. We plan, replay, judge, fantasise, problem-solve. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, and yet if we become stuck in these ways of thinking, we can end up living a life that's slightly detached from our experience. Forever evaluating what's happening rather than living it.
As a Presence Coach, my role is to support you to come into presence with your experience. Everything is welcome - you can bring to sessions whatever feels alive to you. But rather than trying to 'solve' anything, together we'll explore how you relate with whatever you bring; turning your attention to what it's like to be with, here and now.
This isn't about emptying your mind or achieving some ideal state of calm. It's about developing a more honest, direct relationship with yourself. It might be the most challenging journey you ever take - facing yourself and everything you've learnt not to feel.
I draw on the practice of Circling, somatic awareness, Psychosynthesis counselling and several years of working with people on what it means to be genuinely present - with themselves and with others.
You have done personal development work and want to go deeper - into the body, into direct experience, rather than more analysis. Perhaps you've had a lot of amazing insights, but now you're seeking to dive in deeper than they can take you.
You find yourself going through life somewhat on autopilot - doing, achieving, managing - and you want to feel more alive.
You notice you struggle to be fully present in conversations, relationships or when you're by yourself - like you're there but not fully there.
You are curious about what it might feel like to be less defended, more open - and want a guided space in which to explore that.
The first session is £95. After that, I work in packages of 5 sessions for £425.
I always offer a free 30-minute conversation before you commit to anything, so we can get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit.
It's different from therapy in its focus. Therapy can often stay in the story - what's going on in your life, where it might be rooted, what patterns are at play. Presence coaching stays closer to how you're meeting your experience right now, and what becomes possible when you meet it more fully. We can still explore what's happening in your life, but we'll do it grounded in presence. Don't worry if you're unsure how to do that!
Yes, all sessions are online via Zoom.
Each session is different - guided by what is alive for you that day rather than a fixed structure. We might begin by checking in with how you are arriving: what are you present with - what's on your mind? What do you notice in your body?
From there the session finds its own direction. Sometimes that involves slowing down into a particular sensation or feeling. Sometimes it involves exploring how you are relating to something - a situation, another person, yourself. The common thread is presence: coming into relation with whatever emerges in your experience.
Presence coaching is distinct from counselling, though it draws on the same depth of training and experience. If you are unsure whether presence coaching or counselling might be more appropriate for you, I am happy to discuss that in a free conversation.
If this resonates, I would love to hear from you. Send me a message and we will arrange a free 30-minute call to explore whether presence coaching might be right for you.
